The villas are located at the south-eastern edge of the island and only a walk away from the renown Porto Roma and Gerakas beach. We are also at the heart of the environmentally protected area “Natura 2000”, which is the home of endangered sea turtles and seals. The sea is also only a few footsteps away.

Just off the coast, the traditional yet modern stone villas are surrounded by the unique Mediterranean flora and aroma and offer a luxury living to its guests, for which a private transfer to and from the location can be arranged. Our aim is to provide something more than a place to stay and help you explore the wonderful island of Zakynthos. Arismari Luxury Villas invite you to experience moments of serenity, harmony and to enjoy the breath-taking view of the sunrise.

DISCOVER OUR VILLAS

The villas lie in Gerakas cape and consist of two separate and autonomous buildings. Each villa has four spacious en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen and living room, where you will be able enjoy all the modern comforts. The traditional architecture is harmoniously married with a modern and minimal interior design and a neutral colour scheme.

At the terrace you can enjoy moments of serenity and optimal privacy either on the sun loungers around the private infinity pool or in the hot tub, breathing in the rich fragrance of rosemary that the sea breeze has swirled around. If you are feeling vigorous you can ride one of the villa’s mountain bikes and traverse the rural trails of Vasilikos or take the snorkelling gear and explore the hidden treasures of the turquoise blue waters.

Arismari is located in one of the most prestigious locations of Zakynthos. It is not a coincedence that centuries ago the lords of the island used to have their holidays villas build in this area.

ABOUT ZAKYNTHOS

Zakynthos, also known by its Italian name Zante, is a verdant island with mild Mediterranean climate. In the island there is something for everyone to explore as it offers an extraordinary variety of beaches, sandy and deep blue in the southeast and rocky and turquoise in the northwest, rural mountain villages, a cosmopolitan town and of course the worldwide famous shipwreck beach.

Arismari, also known as rosemary, is an aromatic evergreen bush and a local Greek and Cyprian idiom. The name derives from the Latin language - Rosmarinus officinalis - and the combination of the words ros – breeze and marinus – marine. It was believed that the plant has no need of watering and is able to survive only by absorbing humidity by the sea. The second Latin word officinalis means pharmaceutical and is a reference to its healing attributes.

Arismari derives from the Mediterranean but in our days, it is also cultivated for its cyan flowers in Europe and America. The plant and especially the stem and leaves contain a colorless or yellowish superficial ethereal oil known as rosemary oil. The bees are attracted to it and use it to produce honey.
